ID_’s Rank System

The purpose of ths system is to increase clan productivity and decrease the workload of the ID leadership. Furthermore, it will allow for faster expansion into new games with interested members. This system is designed to increase efficiency within the clan, not to place members on a “power trip.” Misuse of rank will result in immediate demotion.

The ranking structure will be arranged as follows:

  1. The Dictator
  2. Overlord
  3. Horseman
  4. Stalker

Roles and Responsibilities of the Ranks

  1. The Dictator oversees the entire clan. It is his responsibility to make decisions that affect the overall focus and direction of ID_. He has control of the entire message board and direct command of the Overloads. All ranks are approved by the dictator. The dictator has sole rights to remove rank at any time or appoint new officers.
  2. Overloads report directly to the Dictator. Overloads will also help the Dictator in clan development and execution. Furthermore each general will supervise one segment of the clan, such as PS3, XBOX, computer and community outreach. Overloads will moderate the message boards with the exception of sensitive data and backend control. Overloads will continue to lead ID_ in the event of The Dictators absence (vacation, heavy work schedule, alien abduction etc)
  3. Horseman report directly to the Overloads. It is the Horsemens responsibility to work with the Stalkers to help manage their day to day responsibilities, as well as settle disputes. Horseman will help to moderate the message board with the exception of sensitive data and backend control. Their responsibilities are similar to Overloads with the exception of clan development, which will be left to The Dictator and Overloads. Current members will be promoted to this position on a case by case basis as the need within the clan arises.
  4. Stalkers have the most important role within ID_; they are responsible for their own game. It is the Stalkers responsibility to manage wars, practice and (if clan support is available) set up and run the clan in their specific game. They will also settle minor disputes between clan mates in their specific game. Stalkers of one game do not have control of operations of another. If a dispute arises between Stalkers of different games, it is the responsibility of the senior leadership to settle them. Stalkers will not have moderator rights, but may post in the ID calendar without senior leadership approval. Exceptions may be approved by the leadership on a case by case basis if the need arises. Stalkers are responsible for active recruitment within their game.

All complaints go up. If a member has an issue, they will bring it to the attention of the Stalkers first. If they are unable to solve this problem, it will be reported to the Horseman/Overloads and so on. The goal is to have problems or disputes settled at the lowest rank possible.

The reporting function in the forums will remain unchanged.
